1. About ClearZero

ClearZero is a personal finance visualization tool designed to help you understand and plan your path to debt freedom. By accessing or using ClearZero at clearzero.money (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Not Financial Advice

ClearZero is not a financial advisor, and nothing on this site constitutes financial advice. The calculations, projections, and visualizations provided by ClearZero are tools to help you think about your financial situation. They are based entirely on the numbers you enter and standard mathematical models — they do not account for taxes, fees, life events, or individual circumstances.

Before making significant financial decisions, we strongly encourage you to consult a qualified financial professional. ClearZero makes no guarantee that following any payoff strategy or projection shown by the tool will produce any particular outcome.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ClearZero. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. ClearZero is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

4. Your Data and Privacy

All financial data you enter into ClearZero is stored in your browser's localStorage on your own device. It is not transmitted to or stored by ClearZero. You are solely responsible for the security of your device and any data stored on it. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Free and Pro Tiers

ClearZero offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Features available under each tier are described on the Service and are subject to change.

Free tier: Available to all users at no charge, subject to feature limitations described on the site.

Pro tier: When available, offered as a paid subscription processed through Stripe. Pricing and billing terms will be presented at the time of purchase and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tier or feature, and will make reasonable efforts to notify Pro subscribers of material changes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClearZero in any way that violates applicable law, interferes with or disrupts the Service or its infrastructure, attempts to reverse-engineer or copy any part of the Service, or is fraudulent or harmful to ClearZero or other users.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials on ClearZero are owned by or licensed to ClearZero and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLEARZERO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY FINANCIAL CALCULATION OR PROJECTION IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLEARZERO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CLEARZERO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Third-Party Services

ClearZero uses Google Analytics (usage analytics) and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. ClearZero is not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ClearZero operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
